The imaginations were then put into paintings an aspect through which various people would get access to them in trying to make an understanding of their past and historical orientation. In analyzing the paintings keenly, there are various colors that have been used and for various reasons. The most emphasized colors are blue, red, and brown which tend to create a picture that these were used to be the common colors during the old days (Kratzmann 2010, 48). Indeed in looking at the paintings these individuals did more of sailing which is clearly shown by a majority of ships drawn. It is however hard to determine whether the paintings as well as the landscape look Greek, though in taking the history of Greeks into perspective, they seem to look G reek. A preoccupation that can be determined from these drawings is that of art and more specifically sailing (Kratzmann 2010, 51).On the viewing ruins, there are various aspects that are clearly observable. First the paintings are of the past ruins though having the pictures of modern men viewing them. This is so to bring about the picture of reflecting back on history and the occurrences. In the perspective of Greek landscapes, there were buildings that were surrounded by either water or even trees.
